The Faces of Courage Breast Cancer Gallery is a group of 18 portraits of Breast Cancer Survivors. The women & man featured represent the thousands of women & men who have been touched by this horrible, disfiguring, and often deadly disease. They bare the battle scars that were earned in their fight against cancer, rejoicing in their victory. The Gallery images depict the many 'Faces of Courage' from young to old…Black, White, Hispanic, Indian, female and male because breast cancer is a non-discriminatory offender.
The intent of the Gallery is to present real life documentaries from women in our communities who are breast cancer survivors, to build public awareness and provide 'hope' and 'help' to those in need. There is life after losing a breast. This is a battle that can be conquered as long as you are aware.
The Gallery is available on loan to groups or organizations that wish to help raise donations for Faces of Courage.
